Seventy Thousands 70,000:-
According to several of the Hadiths, the total number of Muhammad's followers who would ever enter Paradise are either 70,000 or 700,000. All beyond this number will end up in Hell; hundreds of millions of them.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.470 Narrated bySahl bin Sad
The Prophet said, "Verily! 70,000 or 700,000 of my followers will enter Paradise altogether; so that the first and the last amongst them will enter at the same time, and their faces will be glittering like the bright full moon."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 7.606/ 648 Narrated byIbn Abbas
Allah's Apostle said, -Nations were displayed before me; one or two prophets would pass by along with a few followers. A prophet would pass by accompanied by nobody. Then a big crowd of people passed in front of me and I asked, 'Who are they? Are they my followers?' It was said, 'No. It is Moses and his followers.' It was said to me, 'Look at the horizon.' Behold! There was a multitude of people filling the horizon. Then it was said to me, 'Look there and there about the stretching sky!' Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon. It was said to me, 'This is your nation out of whom seventy thousand [70,000] shall enter Paradise without reckoning.'
" Then the Prophet entered his house without telling his companions who they
(the 70,000) were. So the people started talking about the issue and said, "It is we who have believed in Allah and followed His Apostle; therefore those people are either ourselves or our children who are born in the Islamic era, for we were born in the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance.'' When the Prophet heard of that, he came out and said. "Those people are those who do not treat themselves with Ruqya, nor do they believe in bad or good omen (from birds etc.) nor do they get themselves branded (cauterized), but they put their trust (only) in their Lord." On that 'Ukasha bin Muhsin said, "Am I one of them, O Allah's Apostle?" The Prophet said, "Yes." Then another person got up and said, "Am I one of them?" The Prophet said, -Ukasha has anticipated you."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.479 Narrated byIbn Abbas
Allah's Apostle said, "Seventy thousand [70,000] people of my followers will enter Paradise without accounts, and they are those who do not practice Ar-Ruqya and do not see an evil omen in things, and put their trust in their Lord.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.550 Narrated byAbu Huraira
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "From my followers there will enter Paradise a crowd, seventy thousand [70,000] in number whose faces will glitter as the moon does when it is full." On hearing that, 'Ukasha bin Mihsan Al-Asdi got up, lifting his covering sheet, and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Invoke Allah that He may make me one of them." The Prophet said, "O Allah, make him one of them." Another man from the Ansar got up and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Invoke Allah to make me one of them." The Prophet said (to him), "'Ukasha has preceded you."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.551 Narrated bySahl bin Sad
The Prophet said, "Seventy-thousand or seven-hundred thousand of my followers (the narrator is in doubt as to the correct number) will enter Paradise holding each other till the first and the last of them enter Paradise at the same time, and their faces will have a glitter like that of the moon at night when it is full."
Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 422 Narrated byImran ibn Husayn
The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Seventy thousand people of my Ummah would be admitted into Paradise without rendering any account. They (the companions) said: Who would be those (fortunate persons)? He (the Prophet) said: Those who do not cauterise and practise charm, but repose trust in their Lord, Ukkashah then stood up and said: Supplicate (before) Allah that He should make me one among them. He (the Prophet) said: Thou art one among them He (the narrator) said: A man stood up and said: Apostle of Allah, supplicate (before) Allah that He should make me one among them. He (the Prophet) said: Ukkashah has preceded you (in this matter).
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 5556 Narrated byAbuUmamah
AbuUmamah heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) say, "My Lord has promised me to bring into Paradise seventy thousand [70,000] of my people without any reckoning or punishment, each thousand accompanied by seventy thousand and three handfuls added by my Lord."
Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
***Assuming this very generous report is true, the number of Muhammad's followers who will ever enter Paradise will be as follows:
70,000 + 70 x 70, 015 = 4,971,050 ONLY out of Hundreds of Millions of 'Muslims' will go to Paradise.
All the remainder would end up in Hell.
I am sure the suicide bombers have not been informed of this.
This, less than ABYSMAL figure - by any standard of logic - reflects very badly upon the CHARACTER and MORALS of Muhammad's followers ***
